So we printed our thesis yesterday.

and as we were in the mid of printing, the computer had some problem, and of which i couldnt stand. Keep on pressing on the keyboard and mouse and hope that it will recover again.

and around 15 sec later, i couldnt stand, i click “windows” to restart. and around 10 sec later, it didnt restart. i straight away pressed the “restart” button.

and my friend said, “nai4 xin1 yi4 dian3”

at that moment, i just ignore it.

and guess what, i should have answered “Sorry, i am a gemini”

Tee hee..

Hopefully i can hit my target this month..

For those who are watching PPS, pls remember that u are not the only one who needs to online.

 

Pls try other alternatives such as tom365.com as this wont make the line super slow.

This problem is kind of irritating as u share the line with others, it would not be good if u tell ur housemates to turn off their PPStream.

He is a good friend with different priority as compared to me :)

We bought a cake for celebration. I love the earrings i wore, never realized the earrings is so pretty :)

today i just did the presentation for my final year project (thesis) and this is the most troublesome thing for a final year student. Because if ur examiners do not approve of what u are doing, u need to refine them before the submission.

and we were so scared that we got some Questions from the examiners about our thesis.

 

and guess waht.

our work is impressive to them. They said they have seen us putting in a lot of effort, and that was one of the best presentations they had.

they commented for like 7 minutes.

OMG.. i couldnt believe it that we do not need to amend anythign!!!

 

HAHA..

we finished our thesis the fastest as compared to other groups.

we did the quality work even though we finished ealier.

it is really effective and efficient!!!

Then we went sing k to celebrate. WE even bought a cake as this really means a lot to us by having NO questions from the examiners..

A lot of lecturers seem skepticism about my plan, but my bro told me that they are not me, their advice can be considered, but cannot be 100% relied on, unless i want to turn into them.

So now i have to take PENDIDIAKN MORAL for the purpose of graduating.

And we have BM assignment. OMG.. need to write BM. So i actually went and look for our samudera (pls, this is a annual Chong Hwa Annual BM magazine)

and i accidentally found out that i was forced to submit a PANTUN to my BM teacher (lee kah lun) when i was in form 1. My pantun was published right after YAO ZHONG’s PANTUN..

 

walau.. i can seee that YAO ZHOGN has better BM standard than me..

i wrote pantun like shxt.. and below was part of my entry:

Langkawi Trip

So, i just back from my 3 days 2 night FREE AND EASY LANGKAWI TRIP.

Quite enjoyable. I mean i got the feelings back.

Feelings of not having to judge ppl based on their efficiency and productivity.

Feelings of having to see my classmates but not having to discuss assignments with them.

Feelings of waiting ppl for gathering, but dont need to be pissed off because they are late for 5 minutes.

Feelings of having to see my classmates in a very different perspectives, OH GOSH, they are all so cute, why i didnt realize till now.

Feelings of having to be 白痴 to them. Yes, i admit i dunno how to drink Heineken, and i dunno what is HEINEKEN actually. And yea, i forgot how to play “21”, i forgot how to play “chor dai di”. Best still, i dunno how to drive. AND also, i have NO SENSE OF DIRECTION. ---> In fact, there was once when we drove passed by the hotel we stay, i said”WOW, this hotel is sosososo super nice, what;s the name?” in fact, i cant recognize that is the hotel we are staying.

Feelings of letting ppl see the other stupid side of me. I am not saying i am clever, just that they always thought i am clever.

Feelings of having to be on the boat, visiting the islands surrounding langkawi, plssss it reminds me of my secondary school life.. After all, pangkor is similar to langkawi for me (u know, for someone who has no sense of direction, every tree is the same to them, xinmin knows better)

Feelings of having to joke around, just like a stupid one.

Feelings of having friends around.

Feelings of having fun

Feelings of getting the feelings back, after having to lose them for quite some time.

Feelings of looking forward for my new sem, and how it is ended.

Crayon Shin Chan

 

Today heard the news saying that the author passed away. It was an accident when he was trying to take a photo from the cliff.

My first comic is Crayon Shin Chan and i happened to Love it when my mum bought me 1 in the indian newspaper cover in Sg Wang. That was when i was 9 or 10 i guess.

Ever since, u can see that i have tons of Shin Chan dolls in my house. Most of them are being well kept in cupboard now. I still have the first big crayon shin chan doll my mum bought me when i was 10 because i got the 4th place in class.

Although it has been a while since i read Shin Chan’s Comic, still, thanks to the author Yoshito Usui for doing such a great job in creating this funny character SHin Chan.

I couldnt describe how many dolls, phonebooks, keychains, tiny dolls, comic books i have of Shin Chan. Seriously, they are toooooo MANY of Them. * Even Yik Cai gave me one medium Shin CHan doll for my 17th Birthday*

If now Shin CHan’s valueincrease, i am gonna be rich.

And i have a group of good classmates..

I mean they are really nice, we cook together ( they cook, not me), sing k together, do a lot of stuffs togerther, celebrate everyone’s birthday

I have gone through over 12 group assignemtns per year for 4 years

Meaning 48..but at least i skipped UEC.. that’s good ..

and now i have to study for my finals.. OMG.. PLS.. FASTER….

It was damn random that we went for movie yesterday in Kepong Jusco.

and some stupid things happen yesterday.. got to have a good laugh.

 

and CH and YZ, and XH have damn good sense of direction. Ok, I SUCK, i admit it.

Not only i suck in direction, i suck in listening to JOINT WORDS, u know..I think they speak too much English, then they are so used to JOIN the mandarin words…ok..maybe i suck at hearing too.

CH can come to my place after 1/2 year without having me to consult him. Well, even if he needs me to tell him the direction, i will as well ask him refer google Map. I think Google Map has much better direction explanation than me.

I used to “know” secrets that my friends tell me, BUt then, I “Forget” the secrets later on.

Too many stuffs to zadao.

1. Exam cancel tomorrow..ZADAO. after all, have planned all the schedules for meeting datelines for assignments. So, now have to reschedule again.

2. Zadao.. going to attend primary mates bd party. So basically what is so zadao is who is attending. And i feel really bad because have not been contacting with others for like n years. Then dunno why, we get connected again somehow this year.

What zadao me is the most is the primary mates who are attending.

And i have primary mates who stay in 150 steps distance (unlike Xin Min is 50 steps, Ardy is 200 steps, wei hong is 250 steps)

* those primary mates who stay 150 steps away from me, I NEVER MET THEM SINCE STANDARD 6, and now we are going to a place like 100000 Steps away from our place to meet up… REALLY ZADAO

and i really believe that when wh, ardy coming back, i sure need to at least meet them up. So pathetic of me for not meeting ppl who are 150 steps away from me.

3. ZADAo.. so my friend bought condom and dunno what else as gift for the birthday boy… ZADAO..

I dont think that i wanna engage myself in Big 4 audit firm, ended up i become an old tired lady when i am 25 after 3 years experience there. ( even though BIg 4 can support my studies)

* But still, i think when u are young, have to try out different things, only u know which pathway is the most suitable for you. So whatever coming to me, hope that  it would be great.

* Work-Life balance is still the most important thing in life i guess. and, working in BIg 4? i wouldnot have life if i part time study +working. Or fulltime study + part time working? or part time working + part time study?

OR DONT STUDY DONT WORK, shake my legs, money coming in everyday.. NOT BAD ( my future lifestyle should be this when i am 28)

Have been doing it for 4 years consecutively. and it is a bit tiring for the need to correct other ppl work, to be the leader in every single assignemnt, to URGE ppl as datelines coming, to wait for ppl in meeting (because they often late, wt…), to satisfy tutor’s needs (although what they think is the best might not be the best), being in ambiguous situation (when we face prob in assignments, but we are not allowed to ask any questions about it), to angry with other ppl mentally  as their works are not up to expectation but u cant really display too much of ur emotion considering u still need to face himfor some time. having to learn all the textbook stuff (although u know not all the info u study is the useful and beneficial one)…

 

All these processes have to be ended soon/

What a 21st

Oh yeah i bought 马票 on 19th , my birthday. Was having dinner with mum and dad outside at that time. THen i saw this pity 婆婆, showing us the 马票. At first i dun want buy, but then when she came for the 2 round, i a bit pity her. So bought 1 for RM3 from her. BUt ended up got 3马票s from her.

So, i had an early birthday celebration with the clasmates (at least 1 week in advance)

received msn gretting message from ARDY on 18th May (yea.. at least 1 month in advance, he got mixed up with the dates)

had steamboat at home with housemates, OMG> the TOMYAM and MUSHROOM soup damn nice. So surprise that they will cook my FAVOURTIE MUSHROOM SOUP….

had a small celebration with family (MUM BOUHGT MY Favourite CHOCOLOTE INDULGENCE from secret recipe for me (this is the 2nd cake i got from family, the last cake was like n years ago – it was a garfield cake)

Talked to few of my lovely friends who are not In KL through phone.

Had some really lovely friends, who smsed at the exact time.

bought myself an early gift 1 month ago for LASIK surgery on my eyes which costs me 6000 (okay, scholarship sponsors part of it)

Mum bought me some healthy stuff for my 21st (hopefully next year when i go for the ultrasound, the thing in my breast becomes smaller)

i think this movie is quite a funny one.

Yay..Today here i am. Back to Sri gombak again.

Apparently, i am so glad that can be back every weekend, cause i am homesick everyday. Prefer Sri Gombak than sungai long.

So far, i dont really have the enthusiasm i previously had in assignments. I mean, i am damn lazy now in studies.. I have those "dont-care" attitude.

And today, what a sudden to receive a call from Angeline (the HR personnel of CIMB dealing with our competition). Quite a shock for me, she called and asked whether when my mates and I are free to go to CIMB again as she wants to brief us about the management trainee programme CIMB is offering.

YEa,, knew they would call because they specified the CIMB Competition was for "FINAL YEAR STUDENT". So definitely this competition is somekind like a recruitment programme they have for fresh grad.

Erm.. i didnt really plan to work for CIMB as management trainee, i think i would opt for finishing ACCA after grad from UTAR. but then it would be quite a good try just to attend their brieifing about the management trainee programme. I mean, why now?


ANother update is that my classmates had an ealier bd celebration for me and other friends last tuesday. The early celebration was becasue there are too many ppl whose birthday in June, so they actually celebrate them together.

What an amazing experience as they pushed my face onto a creamy cake. And HALF of the cake were GONE..because it is on my face.***they claimed that since i am going to be 21, this is a necessary procedure** * what a lame excuse.***

I have been living to the fullest recently.

Haha. Yea. i have the most fulfilling holiday i have ever had.

Have done A LOT of stuffs during holiday and it has really beent he first time i occupied every single day so meaningfully.

But most importantly, i met some new friends who i never thought they are good ppl. I mean, they are really gooooooooooooood ppl.

I met shaun and amanda, and really amazed with their enthusiasm, energy. I know their existence for 4 years, but i never really get the chance to interact with them and i am glad that i did.

We pariticipated in CIMB future leadership competition, although we won the 4th place (in which prize was given to 1st to 3rd place, no prize for 4th place)

and even though we won the 2nd for our business presentation to the CIMB top management ( P/s: Only the 1st get the prize, 2nd doesnt get a prize for that.. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH)

We nearly WON the 3rd place by just 1 QUESTION ( which i have to admit i screwed that up, if it wasnt me, we would have won),

but then, there's no "ifs" in life. ( I mean, com'on, i will be rich if i was borned rich. SO just accept the fact)


But still, i am so happy for the whole competition thing, with the new thigns i learnt. And the fact that we won the 2nd in presentation was a stunning news for us. OMG... I really cant believe it that we sold "facebook banking" idea so well.... we even did a commercial advertisement for that, and we were the 1st group presenting to them on the presentation day. maybe we have set a high target for others in terms of creativity.

But i have to say, others not bad also, i mean thier power point slides are SOSOOSO professional. and ours.. erm....not too bad just that we didnt really spend much time on that, but still, we get the 2nd place.

HAHAHAH

I always thought that shaun and amanda are ppl who are different world. But it actually turned out that i have been wrong for nearly 4 years.

And yes, i have to say this is a really good experience.

And during holiday, i bought an early gift for myself. the gift is huge man, since i have been working hard, i guess it is a time to pay back right?

and yea, now holiday is over, i am really looking forward to 14 weeks later.

I mean com'on..... CHRISTMAS IS COMING.....

and Ji MUIS are coming back....

and there are so many ppl to meet, so many meaningful thigns to do............

Feel like being cheated by my ex-tutor to take part in CIMB FLP business challenge.

SHe didnt tell me that preparation is needed for this competition. And we need to hand in a business proposal for this competition.

It is not that i dont like to write business proposal..

It is just that i am not FOND OF competition that requires me to do preparation.

that's why i like those impromptu speech competition, no preparation is required.. u just need to bring urself and if lucky, u bring back a trophy.

If i knew the competition needs preparation, i would have rejected it.

And it was a team work competition, we didnt get the chance to choose the team members. Intially, i thought he gonna select good students from other courses, but it seems that after being rejected by few students, he simply choose other team members.

So, what's the point?

But, no chance for turning back. So, just go for it lar..fortunately it is after exam.

and i just received an email from him to attend a CIMB talk next week, considering the final is around the corner, i dont really bother to attend it

Oh god.. MISS both stich and A-teens so much.

Today we met with our supervisor for thesis in the afternoon. I actually mailed her our research proposal yesterday for her to have a look . She seems bc these days, i didnt expect that she would read the proposal .

So when we met her this afternoon, this is waht she said,
" I am really impressed with the proposal. Out of the 4 groups i supervise, this is really good for just a proposal. I even rejected others' proposal, but urs i have nothing to comment so far.'

This is not the end.

She actually mentioned "impressive with our work" several times, around 3 times during our 15 min meet up.

Really glad for that.. u know.. after all, i really nearly cried out when my STUPID ACER COMPUTER SPOILT which nearly caused all my valuable information about this research proposal GONEEE!!!

Yea, I have put in hard work and really glad that i receive something in return. But still, 8 more months to go. Still so far away from completing the thesis...

Anyway, tomorrow i am participating CIMA competition, see what i can get tomorrow. *and that's why i am still staying in sg long on friday night.

My computer spoilt 3 days before my presentation. and all my preparation for the research proposal presentation was inside that stupid ACER computer. It was really a shxtty moment for me at that time.

But fortunately, i ahve some backups in my emails :)

And the presentation went smoothly.. fortunately...
We were so scared because the lecturer is very strict and sarcastic at the same time. The way he speaks is so sarcastic and we were all relieved when he said our presentation was good.


So, the next thing i did last friday was to buy a laptop.

SAM THONG, it costs me RM2260... walau..... my hard earned money...

aiya. but think about it, LOSING IMPORTANT DATA in the future vs SPEND RM2260,

i think it is a good investment for a new laptop though.

and last saturday, i met with some of my priamry schoolmates.. ahah.. i never met them for like N years, and really glad that i get to see some of them..

And today is the beginning of week 12 :) First sem of final year is gonna end soon :)

Assignments are really driving me nuts.

But u know what. Left 320 days and i dont need to think why others are so NOT punctual, why others are so NOT responsible, and why others LIKE to YUM CHA when there are assignments piling..

and it is really interesting for me to see with this attitude, what would they be after 10 years...

YEa.. live with the attitude u have throughout ur life... that's ur problem, not my problem.

My problem is : i need to get a good score, although they cause me to do more work that i should, so what? i cant change them, let's change my perception.


Live ur own life, control ur own emotion.

whatever u do is not going to affect me because I myself control my own emotions, not u..

Live with those kind of attitude, and dont let me laugh at u after 10 years when we meet.

Been having a meaningful holiday i guess.
Just a little bit record for myself that i was a bit bit happy 2 days ago when my results released. There were As which i never really expected as i thought i had screwed up to score a B+

But hey, when everyone screws or other ppl screwed more than me, things just different. I am just a lucky girl, i guess. I can recall how much i worried when i was having that paper.

But even if i got a B+, i think i would be able to handle it as well. But scoring an A for that subject, it just makes me feel incrediblly surprise. Cause it actually helps to build my confidence in everything i do, my choice of doing other stuffs rather tan just academic thingy.

It makes me feel right though.

Received POSB security device yesterday and it made me feel utterly happy. Hahaha... yea, i have been waiting for this device for a week and finally it arrived. I paid RM250 to singapore to get this stuff though. And POSB has realy done a good job in the security environment of the banking system, unlike Mal banks, they just always got hacked by ppl (there is just a recent news, but cant recall which bank it is)

Went to MV with PH yesterday and watched a stupid movie called JUNO which is suppossed to be FUNNY.. but it didnt turn out the way. The actress of the movie, Ellen Page, even awarded as the best actress in the 200 Movie Award. I guess awarded movies are arts which normal ppl dont understand and cant even get a clue of it.

Today, courier reached my house and damn... i wasnt home. Shxtty it is.

And last time i was obsessed with SUPERNATURAL because of Dean,

and now.. i am watching GOSSIP GIRL, it is so OC but i prefer GOSSIP GIRL because the way the story is presented is very much likeDESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. If you watch these 3 shows, u will get what i mean.

Gossip girl's relationship map is much more complicated than OC's. OC just focuses on Ryan + Mar, Summer+ Seth+ Anna where both combinations have no relationship with each other ( meaning Ryan is not sleeping with Summer, and Mar is not going to date Seth)

but Look at gossip girl, it is like

Serena who is blair's best friend slept with Nate who is blair's boyfriend
and
blair slept with Chuck who is Nate's best friend
and
Serena's bf who is Dan whose father dated serena's mother before..
Let the list goes on.

And believe me, u cant watch this kind of show in the middle, it has to be started at the very beginning..

But supernatural which is very much similar to smallville ( u know what happen at the end of each episode, SUPERHEROES just save the world)

WEnt to sungei wang yesterday with mum to buy my CNY clothes. couldnt go to Karmen's house cause no transportation to reach her place. and today just got a friend from Kuan Moo Tuan msned me saying that she saw me.

At first, i thought she might have sharp eyes and able to recognize me far far away.
But, she told me, she was right in front of me, as in FACE TO FACE, and she doesnt know what i was looking at, and she was paiseh to call my name..

and that's it.

FACE TO FACE.. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME..

and the worst thing is that I DIDNT NOTICE IT AT ALL...
I think this isnt the first time.

P/s: Just noticed that the girl who saw me in sungei wang yesterday, her name is KARMEN LEE.

OH GOSH........

Went to MV yesterday with PH, YS, Hwei Yen, Wei Hong and met Karmen and Wc's friend Jia over there.

PH, YS, Hwei yen, WH and me went to Kenny to have lunch together, catching up for about 2.5 hours i guess. Hey man, not bad, i got to meet hwei Yen, we didnt really meet since .............. ages
And yea, she has lost quite a lot of weight. Good for her :) Really glad to know that as well.
and the last movie we went together was S.W.A.T (according to Hwei Yen, i liked S.W.A.T very much and i always said "sometimes doing the right thing isnt doing the right thing")

i remember i liked S.W.A.T before, but i dont remember me saying stuff like "sometimes doing the right thing isnt doing the right thing"

Just fei -ing for 2.5 hours, and got to know that SIngaporean like to use BM in an improper manner but believing they are correct when they arent.

The funniest example is how singaporean pronounce GENTING. yea, we pronounce in BM manner "gen" +"ting"

Singaporean, on the other hand, pronounced it in English manner.
"gen" (as in "gen" in generation) + "ting"

WEIRDO.........

and then we accidentally bumped into Karmen who actually had a meeting with Jia. Karmen in fact called me up millions of time when we were in Kenny, but u know, the line was too bad these days... that's how all these happen.

And yea, we went to watch YESMAN... this is definitely a funny movie. At least, i got to laugh for real.. hehe... u should watch it man! My next movie would be on Twilight with Ph next tuesday, hopefully she is not putting any helicopter..

After watching YESMAN, we just went back home. and guess waht, i had the best luck ever...
me, ys, wh wento to take KTM and we waited less than 5 minutes( the probability having to wait for KTM <5 mins is like 1%)
Then we took Putra( yea, waited less than 1 minute i guess)
and later on taking bus ( and yea, waited less than 10 mins, again probability is like 5%)

It has been a really hectic or chong shi holiday for me, i guess.
After exams, i went to singapore and after back from singapore, the very next day, me and mum had to rush back to Port Dickson cause my grandpa just passed away.

So, just back yesterday and now have to back to my own business ald..
A lot of stuff to catch up. haha... today is christmas day and it should be a rest day for me.

Holiday ending soon. SOSOSOSO super sad..

Just back from singapore. Oh gosh, stuffs in singapore damn expensive but i didnt really spend much.

Just open a saving account at POSB bank which requires me to save SGD 500, oh and yea, singapore currency is damn high u know.. as in like 2.4. Everything just times by 2.4 and discourages me to even eat an ice cream along the orchard road. It is not that i am poor, just that when u convert it, u will think that why not wait for another 2 days and eat it in Malaysia, right?

Initially i thought that singaporean are much more civilised than Malaysian, but now i have changed my mind. Singaporeans dont thrw rubbish everywhere because they have a really effective and effecient government.

Malaysians, on the other hand, have less stricter, or i have to say, MORE LENIENT, government.

So my conclusion is, singaporean dont throw rubbish because of the COMPLIANCE not COMMITMENT. I am not saying that every singaporean is like that, just that i think as compared to other countries, singaporean are more to compliance whereas Malaysian, neither compliance nor commitment.

Stupid me. why go and talk about the compliance vs commitment thingy. But definitely, singapore is definitely a better place..hahah

By the way, despite the fact that i didnt spend much in singapore, i did spend a lot on the transportation. I went to Singapore by a FIVE STAR BUS. Let's see how 5 stars is it:

1. Everyone has a seat.
2. the seat can massage your back.
3. only 16 seats in a bus
4. Meals provided with coffee/tea
5. U have an individual tv (just like aeroplane, but much better than that, as u can adjust the TV, up and down,left or right)
6. U have PS to play, dramas to choose
7. The seat is adjustable using remote control till you can lay down nearly like a sleeping position.
8. Blanket provided for you to sleep.

and the prettiest thing is the price.. guess how much is it?
U know, first time and last time i would ever ride on this kind of bus.. EXCELLENT service WITH EXCELLEND PRICE.

很久， 没有去写自己的日记了（我的日记册， 不是blog ）
自从有了blog之后， 日记册更是变成年记册。
其实日记 vs blog, 当然比较喜欢日记
因为
写日记， 是不用拘束的。。
想写什么， 就什么， 想骂谁， 就骂谁， 不爽谁， 就不爽谁。

有时， 真的应该用心去看待一件事情， 不应该用眼睛。
用眼睛看待一件事情和用心，得到的结果会是不一样。。
从什么时候开始，我只是用眼睛去观察， 而忘了我的心在想什么？

从不知什么时候， 我有了个坏习惯。。
我患了“不分享 ”的病。。
我不会特地去分享。。我自己的东西。。。　好奇怪哦。。。。
不知怎么的。。
可能是时候用“心 ”去看待每一件事情。。

还有要抽一抽时间来休息。。

基本上，　这个ｓｅｍ　拿４分的话，　我已经豁出去了。。我真的不会有遗憾。。

我有不一样的大学生活。。

I am back .... officially

Hey man, you know what, haha.. i just had an outing with my friends. It has been quite long since we last had a nice outing. You know, no kidding, the assignments, midterms, tutorials, weekly presentations have been killing us for nearly 10 weeks. and now.. Look at us,

We are free for 2 weeks before we have to start preparing for finals.

Oh yea, i am going to show up my face soon. GOSH, there are quite a lot of stuffs i can do so far.

I have not watched any movies in Cinema for like .................... nearly half-year? Yea.. iguess so..

Was bombed today and yesterday by lecturer. Anyway, she is m lecturer after all. She has the RIGHTS for about 4-5 months and later..

My EQ very high, so, her bomb doesnt affect me. and i wont let that happen.

Sometimes, lecturers are the one who do not have high EQ, that's why they cant work in corporate world, therefore, they need to go for academic field so that they can bomb 1000 + students whenever they want.

Quite a good occupation for those who has low EQ.
